Purpose

The study aimed to evaluate whether a personalized nutrition plan based on individual blood markers could improve weight management and metabolic health compared to general dietary advice.

Participants

Over 800 individuals were included in the analysis. Participants were overweight or had metabolic risk factors e.g., high cholesterol, blood sugar issues.

Intervention

Each participant received a Metabolic Balance® nutrition plan, tailored to their blood test results, health history, and goals. The plan emphasized whole foods, balanced macronutrients, and individualized food lists. No calorie counting or fad dieting was required.

Results

Weight loss: Participants experienced significant reductions in body weight and BMI.

Preparing the body through a gentle cleanse

Phase 1 is a two-day cleanse. This is a very gentle cleanse using magnesium citrate in the morning to draw water to the colon which will prompt bowel movements throughout the day.

You’re going to enjoy a protein-based meal for breakfast – like an omelet – and then lighter meals like some homemade vegetable soup for lunch and dinner.

The preparation cleanse sets the tone for the conversion phase and is very gentle and easy to manage. It is important to drink lots of water, and you get to go to bed early so your body can rest and reset.

Here’s where the real transformation begins

For about two weeks, you’ll follow your tailored nutrition plan exactly as prescribed.

These meals are chosen based on your blood markers and health history, ensuring they balance your metabolism, stabilize blood sugar and provide the nutrients you need.

This is why it’s so effective because it’s specific to you.

This phase helps your body detoxify and re‑train its metabolic pathways, often leading to noticeable improvements in energy, digestion and weight.

A more relaxed version of Phase 2 with added oils

Once your metabolism has started to rebalance, you can begin to expand your food choices. Cooking oils, condiments and more food choices are included, and you may enjoy occasional “off plan” meals while observing how your body responds.

This phase is about learning and experimenting—discovering which foods support you and which may trigger old symptoms like bloating, heartburn, fatigue or headache.

You will develop a strong foundation of nutritional habits with the freedom and flexibility to make your own food choices. This is the time when you will adopt a lifestyle where you feel amazing and know that your nutrition plan is sustainable. Everything will feel aligned, and you’ll be at a healthy sustainable body composition for you.
